“Yes,” Law said Tuesday on WEEI when asked if the Patriots will win the division. “I say they can win the division. The only thing they have to worry about is Buffalo, and now they feel confident they can go out there and beat them.”
New England’s upcoming schedule positions it well to compete for the division title. The Patriots will face the Miami Dolphins, Cleveland Browns, New Orleans Saints, Tennessee Titans, Baltimore Ravens, New York Giants and New York Jets — all teams that have managed just one win or fewer this season.
If the Patriots handle their business against the weaker teams, they’ll set themselves up nicely to win the AFC East. They’ve already tackled their most formidable challenge by beating the Bills in Buffalo.
The Patriots need to find a way to beat the Bills in Foxborough, and if they succeed, New England could win its first AFC East title since 2019.
