Simone Biles has been slammed for her feud with Riley Gaines after the seven-time Olympic gold medalist attacked the former swimmer over her protests against trans athletes.
Biles’ stance on transgender athletes in women’s sports puts biological females in ‘dangerous and compromising situations,’ says former NFL kicker-turned-politician Jay Feely.
Feely, a former NFL kicker who is running for Congress in Arizona, made his stance on men in women’s sports known on Saturday when he weighed in on the Simone Biles-Riley Gaines feud.
Feely wrote on X in response to Biles’ personal attack on Gaines, “Men don’t belong in women’s sports!”
“@Simone_Biles argument is the antithesis of title 9 and equal opportunity it’s provided for women. It puts girls in dangerous, compromising situations so a man pretending to be a woman can feel better about themselves,” Feely wrote.
The Olympic legend caused uproar on Friday when she snapped at Gaines for being a “bully” and opting not to “uplift the trans community” before then demanding she pick on someone her own size, “which would ironically be a male,” she said.
Biles had finally had enough after seeing Gaines take aim at a high school softball team for winning a state championship with the aid of a trans athlete.
Unfortunately for Biles, she was blasted way more than she was celebrated.
“Men don’t belong in women’s sports!” Feely said to Simone Biles.

“@Riley_Gaines_ worked her whole life, earned an NCAA championship, and had it taken away by a man who wouldn’t have even placed if he competed with the other men.
“Simone doesn’t win any medal if she competes against men. Serena Williams doesn’t win any tournaments if she competes against men. They are the best ever to do it. Why should we compromise with our high school and college girls and take away their opportunities.”
Olympic gymnast Simone Biles is backing down from her seemingly unprompted fight with former collegiate swimmer Riley Gaines, who has defended women’s sports against transgender-identifying males.
“I apologize,” Biles wrote in an X post published Tuesday.
Biles went on to claim the matter is “complicated” and noted she has no “answers or solutions” to rectify the issue.
The Olympic gold medalist called on sports organizations to make changes, asserting they “have a responsibility to come up with rules supporting inclusion while maintaining fair competition.”
