Crossing Broad
Sad story:
ABC Los Angeles didn’t have a lot of new details on Friday morning. Their TV news report references CTE and the digital writeup says this:
“Friends say Johnson had health issues later in life that led him to live on the streets, but they called him a wonderful friend who still made an impact on his community.”
Johnson played two seasons for Ray Rhodes’ Eagles. He was a fourth round draft pick in 1993 and found his way to the Birds via waivers, playing 11 games in 1995 and logging 19 tackles, six sacks, and a forced fumble. He followed that up with 24 tackles and a sack in 1996 and then signed with the Raiders after being released. He appeared in the playoff games against the Lions and Cowboys.
RIP.
