The former Cincinnati great is expected to be the next defensive line coach for the Buffs.
In an incredibly important offseason for the Cincinnati Bengals, some fun news broke as former Cincinnati legend Domata Peko is set to become the defensive line coach for the Colorado Buffaloes.
Peko is now set to join Deion Sanders and his staff for the Buffs after spending this past season coaching with the Dallas Cowboys.
The former Bengal played a lot of his prime years with Mike Zimmer in Cincinnati.
Zimmer was the defensive coordinator in Dallas last season which explains the connection to the Cowboys for Peko.
Peko spent eleven seasons in Cincinnati as one of the most popular players throughout the fanbase and of course had the iconic belly dance that fans will always remember.
This is also not Peko’s first pit stop in Colorado after spending two seasons with the Broncos back in 2017-2018.
It is always fun to see former Bengals stars thriving post playing career and Peko is certainly one that fans will always love and enjoy.
