Here are my final picks and thoughts ahead of Round 1 of the 2025 NFL Draft

The 2025 NFL Draft is finally here, fellow Rumblers! The Buffalo Bills will have their last major opportunity to add talent to the 2025 roster without having to send something away in exchange.

General manager Brandon Beane has a lot of ammo and has been on record saying he won’t hesitate moving up and down so he can guarantee the best value possible for Buffalo. With that in mind, I used the sticktothemodel.com tool to do this exercise in trying to guess what Beane will do Thursday night.

Without further ado, here’s my final seven-round 2025 NFL Mock Draft.

Round 1, pick 30: Emeka Egbuka, WR (Ohio State)

Emeka Egbuka is simply too good to on pass here. At 6’1” and 205 pounds, Egbuka blends size, speed (4.45 40-yard dash), and polished route-running. He’s perfectly suited to quarterback Josh Allen and the Bills’ offense.

Egbuka can become what Josh Palmer is supposed to be: a true man-beater, but at an elite level the likes of which Palmer may never reach. His 2024 stats (66 receptions, 915 yards, 9 TDs) highlight consistency and separation ability, with 85% of his yards before the catch (per Pro Football Focus / PFF).

Egbuka’s strength after contact and versatility — making him best suited for the slot but also effective outside — complement wide receivers Khalil Shakir and Keon Coleman perfectly. His field intelligence and reliable hands (only three drops in 2024) make him a likely dependable target for Allen, while his return experience (14.2 yards per punt return) adds immediate special teams value.

Though not the most explosive, Egbuka’s consistency, selflessness, and ability to elevate Buffalo’s passing game could make him a crucial addition for a Super Bowl push, seamlessly integrating into the Bills’ offensive mentality where “Everybody Eats.”

Round 2, pick 56: Alfred Collins, DT (Texas)

Alfred Collins represents the best value available at a position of need on my board. Collins offers the size and strength heavily missed in the interior of the Bills’ defensive line — a player capable of freeing up space for linebackers Terrel Bernard and Matt Milano to fly all over the field. He also should provide Ed Oliver and the edge rushers more one-on-one opportunities.

Collins’ 2024 season (55 tackles, 5.5 TFLs, 7 pass breakups) earned him Second-Team All-American honors while anchoring a Texas defense ranked top-15 against the run (87.3 yards per game). His ability to stack-and-shed blockers with a violent two-hand strike and 35” arms makes him a premier 1-technique, fitting perfectly with what Buffalo’s looking for inside.

Compared to DaQuan Jones, who is 33 and a free agent in 2026, Collins offers superior athleticism and size, possibly becoming an upgrade as soon as day one. Collins’ pass-rush limitations (one sack in 2024) are offset by his pocket-collapsing power and batted passes, which should work well with Oliver’s gap-shooting style. He’s perhaps the perfect partner to...
