Well, it’s a good thing Saquon Barkley waited until AFTER Super Bowl 59 to miss a thrown object in his direction.
The Eagles held their Super Bowl 59 championship parade in Philadelphia on Friday morning, five days after defeating the Kansas City Chiefs 40-22 in the big game. It was the cherry on top of a historic year for Barkley, who joined the 2K club en route to Offensive Player of the Year honors.
At Super Bowl parades, it’s common for fans to throw canned drinks for the players to catch while they ride the team bus. But Saquon Barkley missed this dart from a fan, and it wound up doinking the back of the head of a person standing behind him:

At least Saquon Barkley doesn’t miss those throws in actual football games…
Injuries unfortunately derailed much of Barkley’s prime during his stint with the New York Giants. But he’s back on a Hall of Fame trajectory after putting together one of the greatest single-seasons by any player in NFL history, and to think he’s still got plenty of good football left in him.
