A fan had to be publicly humiliated at Dallas Cowboys training camp as a punishment for finishing last in his fantasy football league.
Fantasy football players know the drill, alright. In many fantasy leagues, the last-place finisher must endure some form of punishment, and it usually relates to a form of public humiliation.
The 2024 regular season/fantasy football season ended in January, but a fan didn’t have to complete his punishment until Saturday, during the Dallas Cowboys’ latest training camp session.
Joseph Hoyt of The Dallas Morning News shared a video of the fan getting booed as he walked through practice. Why the cold reception? It was a Philadelphia Eagles shirt, only with the back of it saying, “I suck at fantasy football.”
There’s a fan here at Cowboys training camp walking past the stands constantly in an Eagles shirt. He’s getting booed every time.
The twist: the back of his shirt says “I suck at fantasy football.”

It’s one thing to have to wear a shirt detailing your fantasy football failures. But needing to wear an Eagles shirt while surrounded by passionate Dallas Cowboys fans? You do gotta feel a bit for the guy.
For the fan’s sake, let’s hope the fan drafts a better team in 2025 and won’t have to endure the humiliating punishment a second time.
The Cowboys will kick off the 2025 season when they visit the archrival Eagles at Lincoln Financial Field on Sept. 4. This will be Dallas’ second appearance in the “NFL Kickoff Game” in five years, as they visited the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in the 2021 season opener.
