Fantasy Football ‘25: Final RB rankings and tiers
Big Blue View Big Blue View

Welcome to Part II of my final rankings. You can find my July RB rankings, tiers, and player commentary here: RBs. At each position, I’m providing my final rankings and tiers while informing you of major changes. Final QB rankings are here; QB.

Here’s where you can find all my preseason draft prep content, including sleepers, players to avoid and target at ADP, draft tips, a Giants fantasy preview, and more: Fantasy Football Hub.

My RB rankings have undergone changes both large and small in the last month. The biggest fallers include Joe Mixon, Quinshon Judkins, and Brian Robinson, Jr., while big risers include rookies Omarion Hampton and TreVeyon Henderson. Chase Brown only moved up one spot (from 11 to 10), but he also jumped up into Tier 2. Several backs who either weren’t listed in July or were listed very low have moved up (or are new additions), including rookies Jacory Croskey-Merritt, Woody Marks, Kyle Monangai, Ollie Gordon II, and Dylan Sampson. Watch out for the rookies! Overall, the rankings aren’t too far off from what I published in July.

I’ve organized the running backs into tiers, as I do at every position. You should do the same. In a nutshell, everyone wants the best players, and a tiered approach allows fantasy managers to have a great view of (a) ranges of players who can be expected to have similar fantasy production, (b) where the drop-offs are between those ranges, and (c) how many players in a range remain available at any given time. Tiers really help when position runs come, and they facilitate more effective drafting, regardless of whether you use a snake or auction format.

My RB rankings and tiers are for Half-Point PPR. In Full PPR, the backs who catch a lot of passes climb the rankings.
