Former Raiders’ tight end trying comeback in Miami
Darren Waller has been a well-respected, easy-to-cheer-for figure in the Las Vegas Raiders fan base for several years.
And Raiders’ fans will be watching Waller as he attempts a comeback this season after he ended a one-year retirement and he was traded from the New York Giants to the Miami Dolphins.
We asked our community members if they think Waller’s comeback attempt Miami will be a success our if they think he is past his prime.
In a poll with more than 300 votes cast, 69 percent of the voters don’t think Waller’s comeback will work, while 31 percent think he’s still a great player.
I get why this poll went the way it did. Waller turns 33 in September and he hasn’t played in more than 11 games since the 2020 season.
Waller was a good Raider and he has a great story of personal triumph. Everyone here is rooting for him.
