The Las Vegas Raiders have a new backup quarterback and the fan base is excited.
Last week, of course, the Silver and Black traded a 2026 fifth-round pick of the Cleveland Browns for Pickett, who is a free agent in 2026.
Pickett, 27, has been been traded three times already even though he is going to into just fourth season.
We asked out our community members if they felt good about the Pickett trade or not. In a popular poll, about 55 percent of Raiders fans were behind the trade while 45 don’t seem to believe in Pickett.
I get the reasons why fans like this trade. Pickett is a better fit than Aidan O’Connell for this system and he will likely remain the backup when O’Connell returns in 6-8 weeks from a fractured wrist.
