Let’s take a look at the odds.
Brock Purdy
Purdy’s passing total over/under is set at 3850.5 passing yards. Both sides come in at -114. Now the real chance at some money is taking the over on Purdy’s touchdown total for the season at 24.5. The under sits at -132, but the over gives the best odds at +100. Will Purdy throw 25 touchdowns in ‘25? The answer is yes, and this is a simple smash.
If you’re feeling bullish on number 13’s outlook in 2025, Purdy throwing 30+ touchdowns sits at +210. Throwing for 4,000+ yards comes in at +110. If you’re looking for something with longer odds, then look no further than the prop for Purdy leading the NFL in passing yards at +1200.
Christian McCaffrey
McCaffrey looks fast again following his injury-riddled 2024. His rushing yards over/under total is set at 950.5 and comes in at -114 for either side. An interesting bet is McCaffrey’s receiving yard total of 425.5. I’m taking the over, given the injuries and inexperience from the 49ers’ wide receivers. This prop has the same odds at -114 for over or under, but this is an easy selection.
Will McCaffrey score eight rushing touchdowns in 2025? I’d say yes and would take the over on his rushing touchdown prop of 7.5 at -114. A prop with longer odds that deserves a look is McCaffrey taking home the AP comeback player of the year award at +300.
George Kittle
Kittle continues to show no signs of slowing down at age 31. As far as his receiving yard total is concerned, the over/under total is 900.5 and sits at -114 for both sides. This feels like we should take the over, but I’d choose Kittle’s prop of going over 1,000 yards at +115. There’s a monster season in store for the All-Pro tight end.
Another prop to target for Kittle is his touchdown total on the season, which is 6.5 and is +118 for the over and -158 for the under. Take the over. Kittle has become a red zone target for Purdy and figures to at least score seven touchdowns on the season.
