With the 2025 NFL season inching closer and closer, the 32 NFL teams are starting to shape into the form they will look like to start the year. Because of this, many fans are ready to get in on the action and make some money. This is also allowing the betting markets to start taking shape as well and act as a good indicator of the public perception for each team.
For the Seattle Seahawks, FanDuel Sportsbook’s odds show that fans are leaning in the direction that Seattle will come out right in the middle of the pack, with the least risky bet being under 7.5 wins. If a fan were to bet $100 that the Seahawks win less than 7.5 games, that would only net them $120. The next least risky bet is over 8.5 wins, with a $100 bet only netting the winning fan $125. These middle of the pack odds in the betting markets are pretty par for the course all offseason long for the Seahawks. Seattle entered the offseason with major questions along the offensive line. They then went on to trade both Geno Smith and DK Metcalf, and then brought in Sam Darnold and Cooper Kupp as the major replacements at quarterback and wide receiever. After all of that shakeup, the offensive line still is a question as well, with the only major addition being first round pick, Grey Zabel.
It is not too surprising that betting markets are not projecting Seattle to meet their same double-digit win total from last year (10-7). It will be telling if Seattle’s strong preseason will shift these markets up at all. In the meantime, many Seahawks fans may be looking to bet the over on 9.5, 10.5, or an even higher win total.
