Fanatics Announces Chance Of A Lifetime As They Offer Fans Opportunity To Face Off Against Big-Name Athletes For A Million Dollar Grand Prize

Fanatics has made a massive announcement sports fans will absolutely love, introducing its ‘Fanatics Games,’ which will allow them to compete against superstar athletes for the opportunity to take home a whopping $1 million prize.

The sports platform revealed plans for the event late last month and posted a date on social media this week.

The games, set for June 20-22, will offer sports fans the chance to rub shoulders with notable athletes in a bid to outshine them.

“This isn’t just a game – it’s the start of something legendary,” Fanatics announced via its official website. “For the first time ever, a select group of fans will step off the sidelines and into the spotlight, and compete in a high-stakes, multi-event skills showdown live at Fanatics Fest.”

The biggest stars are hitting sports fandom’s biggest stage.

The Fanatics Games will take place in New York City as part of Fanatic Fest 2025 and will see 50 pro athletes take on 50 fans, who need to qualify via an application process.

The tournament will encompass eight sports and test skills in basketball shooting, quarterback accuracy, soccer goal-scoring, baseball pitching, hockey shooting, UFC striking, WWE entrances, and golf precision.

Contestants’ six best scores will make up their final ranking.

The Fanatics Games Will Bring Out The Biggest Games In Sports

With $2 million in total value available, one competitor will leave with $1 million, the first prize. Second place gets a 2025 Ferrari 296 GTB, while third place gets a $250,000 LeBron James rookie card.

Should no fan finish in the top three, the highest-scoring participant will receive $100,000.

Tom Brady, Kevin Durant, Kevin Hart, Rob Gronkowski, Russell Wilson, James Harden, Draymond Green, Odell Beckham Jr., Tyreek Hill, Micah Parsons, and WWE stars Seth Rollins and Rhea Ripley are among celebrity participants.

Fans must apply by June 9 and show off their skills in a short video uploaded to the Fanatics App or social media using the “#FanaticsGames” hashtag.
