The Jets might have lost their Week 1 game to the Pittsburgh Steelers, but the loss left many fans feeling good about the team. In this week’s SB Nation Reacts surveys, we asked Jets fans how confident they were in Justin Fields and the team in general after the game.
A week ago, the overall confidence rating in the Jets was 76 percent. That’s certainly a healthy number, but far below this week’s. We might guess the outstanding play of Fields in Week 1 has a lot to do with the renewed confidence in the team.
This is all subject to change. We have been doing these polls for a long time. It has become clear that one really good or bad week can lead to wild swings. Just as Fields’ Week 1 performance led to a spike, a disappointing effort from Fields and the Jets in Week 2 could lead to far lower results next week.
