Looking at the Falcons first, there were no big changes on Thursday. It’s essentially the same as Wednesday’s report, but with the addition of rookie corner Billy Bowman Jr. who was limited with a shoulder issue. This will certainly be something we keep an eye on heading into Friday’s final practice. There was no update on Drake London, but as of now he is expected to play on Sunday night.
The Vikings, as you can see, have a lot more injuries they’re dealing with. They did have two additions on Thursday, as corner Isaiah Rodgers was limited with an elbow issue after fully practicing on Wednesday. Also, quarterback J.J. McCarthy was added to the report, although he’s dealing with a personal matter and should be fine for Sunday night.
They did have a downgrade to keep an eye on. Left tackle Christian Darrisaw, who was notably absent from the Vikings’ Monday night nail-biter with the Chicago Bears in Week 1, was downgraded to limited on Thursday after practicing fully on Wednesday. Another note, linebacker Blake Cashman and running back Ty Chandler have both been removed from the injury report because they have been placed on IR. Cashman specifically, who is expected to miss several weeks, is a big loss for Minnesota.
