It’s the start of a new week as the Atlanta Falcons attempt to turn the page on a disastrous loss against the Carolina Panthers in Week 3. In Week 4, the Falcons are back home, playing host to the Washington Commanders who have had some injuries to keep an eye on.

The big news with the Falcons continues to be the health of corner A.J. Terrell. Hamstrings are unpredictable with some players being able to bounce back quickly, while others take multiple weeks to months. Terrell remains ‘week-to-week’ as of Wednesday. My prediction is that he will be back following the Falcons’ Week 5 bye week, and play against the Buffalo Bills in Week 6 on Monday night. We shall see though.

There were some other injuries for the Falcons, such as James Pearce Jr. who was limited, but since it is Wednesday, we won’t panic just yet.

A big issue for Washington is the status of quarterback Jayden Daniels, who has a knee injury which caused him to be inactive last week. If Daniels is unable to go on Sunday, former Falcons quarterback Marcus Mariota would get the start. Additionally, starting running back Jacory Croskey-Merritt is also battling a knee injury which kept him out of practice on Wednesday.
