We’re still a couple of hours away from finding out the game designations for the Seattle Seahawks against the Atlanta Falcons, but in the meantime we already know the Falcons will be without their best wide receiver this Sunday.

Drake London will miss his third straight game with a PCL sprain, which is a big blow to a very thin Falcons receiving group. London leads the team across the board in receptions (60), receiving yards (810), and touchdowns (6).

Without London, Atlanta’s next leading wide receiver is Darnell Mooney with 21 catches for 323 yards and a touchdown. No other Falcons receivers have double digit receptions on the year, which is absolutely astonishing. Tight end Kyle Pitts has 56 catches and running back Bijan Robinson is not too far behind with 54. Mooney, David Sills V, Casey Washington, and Dylan Drummond would presumably be Atlanta’s next up at the position.

Atlanta’s defense, which has a much improved pass rush, will also be without defensive lineman and team sack-leader Brandon Dorlus, and rookie edge rusher James Pearce Jr, whom Atlanta got at the expense of sending its 2026 first-round pick to the Los Angeles Rams, is a late addition to the injury report with a back issue.

The Falcons are 4-8 and a loss to the Seahawks would officially eliminate Atlanta from postseason contention, a disappointing end to a season with high expectations.

Atlanta will once again start Kirk Cousins at quarterback following the season-ending injury to Michael Penix Jr.
