The Falcons had to be aggressive in adding talent at the wide receiver position this offseason. It was arguably their biggest personnel flaw in 2025. The previous coaching staff and front office failed to make the necessary moves to improve the position following Darnell Mooneyโ€™s serious collarbone injury and Ray-Ray McCloud IIIโ€™s odd release. That left the new regime in need of being proactive to expand the offense beyond Bijan Robinson, Drake London, and Kyle Pitts.

Signing Jahan Dotson, reuniting with Olamide Zaccheaus, and drafting Zachariah Branch were all positive moves to bolster the passing game. Each player brings their own skill set as secondary options. Branch possesses the potential to grow into a bigger role with his game-changing speed. Tua Tagovailoa recently had high praise for him, which speaks volumes about the early impression heโ€™s made. Dotson and Zaccheaus are both established players who will certainly have their roles as downfield threats and possession receivers.
