Robinson gets rewarded for his breakout campaign.
Atlanta Falcons running back Bijan Robinson will be playing in his first ever Pro Bowl, after a dynamite second season in the NFL. He will be replacing Philadelphia Eagles superstar Saquon Barkley, who will be going to the Super Bowl instead.
Robinson broke out in his sophomore season, and was the engine to an Atlanta Falcons offense which ranked sixth in the NFL in total yardage.
He finished third in the league with 1,456 rushing yards behind only Barkley and Baltimore’s Derrick Henry, and was fifth in rushing touchdowns scored with 14. The University of Texas alum also added in 431 receiving yards and an extra receiving touchdown to solidify himself as one of the best dual threat RBs in the league.
Bijan finished the season recording at least 98 yards from scrimmage in 10 of his final 12 games of the season and he went for a career high 170 rushing yards in the finale against the Carolina Panthers. Six of his 14 rushing scores came in the final three games of the campaign.
Atlanta’s star running back joins guard Chris Lindstorm and special teams standout KhaDarel Hodge as the team’s Pro Bowl representatives for this season.
