A lot of things have changed for Tyler Lockett in his life.

Back in 2019, at the age of 27, he revealed to the world that he was a virgin and saving himself for marriage.

The Seattle Seahawks’ legendary wideout is known in the NFL for being a devout Christian who, at 30, was still a virgin and is waiting until marriage.

By 2022, things would finally change as he got engaged to his girlfriend Lauren Jackson, with whom he had been in a four-year relationship at the time.

His virginity would finally end at age 30.

Tyler Lockett is making waves with this admission in a league where headlines are often about flashy lifestyles and wild drama. Lockett shared that he waited until marriage to have sex, staying true to his values despite being a millionaire athlete in the NFL spotlight.

While speaking candidly on a recent podcast, Lockett didn’t shy away from the personal details. He revealed that he saved himself for marriage because of his religious beliefs and followed through on that promise to himself even after fame, money, and attention came calling.

“I waited until marriage,” he said. “I wanted to honor God, and that’s what I believed was right.”

“People around me knew,” he added, “but I never made a big deal out of it.”
