Folks are praying for Deion Sanders following the most recent update on his health.

Coach Prime is heading into his third season as the head coach of the Colorado Buffaloes, but has been waylaid by an undisclosed illness this offseason.

In a tweet on Friday, he claimed he was “Back and Feeling Great!” which led to much optimism.

But there’s some concern again following an announcement that the former NFL cornerback and his medical team have been scheduled for a press conference on Monday.

The news has stirred apprehension among fans, many of whom have made comments offering prayers while showing concern for Prime’s well-being.

“Praying that Deion Sanders is ok,” one wrote.

“Damn, if Deion’s people are holding a full press conference, it’s serious. He’s not the type to make noise over nothing. Hope he’s alright.. dude’s got a lot of heart,” said a fourth.

Deion Sanders Admitted He Was “Still Going Through Something”

Sanders, widely considered to be one of the best defensive backs in NFL history, has had difficulty with blood clots in recent years and has had two of his left toes amputated.

He did not open up on the most recent concerns while discussing his health at Big 12 Media Days earlier this month.

“I’m already back,” he said on July 9. “I’m here today. I’m handling my responsibilities. So, I look forward to it. I can’t wait. You’ve got to understand, some of the young (players) I haven’t even met yet. I’m so excited about that.”

The coach later admitted he wasn’t out of the woods in a video with his son, Deion Sanders Jr., on July 21, saying, “You know I’m still going through something, I ain’t all the way recovered.”

We do not know what he will announce tomorrow, but we wish him the best.
