Tim Tebow led the Gators to national championships in the 2006 and 2008 seasons. The 2007 Heisman Trophy winner was drafted in the first round (25th overall) by the Denver Broncos in 2010, with then-head coach Josh McDaniels viewing him as a potential franchise-changing QB.
After seeing limited action as a rookie, Tebow went 7-4 as the Broncosโ starting quarterback in 2011 with five fourth-quarter comebacks. The Broncos won the AFC West and stunned the Pittsburgh Steelers in the Wild Card Round before falling to the New England Patriots in the Divisional Round.
Tebow was traded to the New York Jets in 2012 and used as a utility player on offense to help Mark Sanchez and company.
After nearly a decade out of pro football, Tebow was signed by the Jacksonville Jaguars after Urban Meyer (his coach at Florida) was hired by owner Shad Khan. Tebow tried out at tight end, but he was cut before the regular season began.
Tebow now works as a college football analyst for ESPN and SEC Nation.
