Shedeur Sanders pulled out all the stops for the NFL Draft, setting up a custom draft room and throwing quite the party to celebrate the next chapter of his football career.
The former Colorado quarterback didn’t imagine he’d slip as far as he did, and he can’t say things worked out the way he expected them to. But he’s still got a foothold in the NFL, with the Cleveland Browns selecting him in the fifth round.
It appears his weekend was wilder than we thought, with a video having surfaced online showing scenes from his party. Moreover, the event was sponsored by Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg’s Meta Quest.

Meanwhile, multiple NFL stars have spoken up for Shedeur Sanders following his slide in the draft, with New York Giants wide receiver Malik Nabers among those who have criticized the NFL for its treatment of the incoming quarterback.
“He was the talk of the top two quarterbacks in his class,” Nabers said on ‘7PM in Brooklyn.’ “There’s no way in hell he (goes) in the fifth round.”
Nabers also suggested that the league wanted to send a message to Shedeur and his family, who have done nothing but play football while doing things the right way.
“I have never heard about (Shedeur) being in trouble,” he added. “Nothing. There’s nothing wrong. They’re playing football.”

Shedeur also received support from Ohio natives Travis and Jason Kelce, who discussed his drop on their ‘New Heights’ podcast this week.
While the brothers were unhappy about how far he fell, they’re excited to have him in Cleveland.
