Based on his recent comments, former Colorado star Shedeur Sanders does not seem like a person who has watched the NFL a lot.
Raiders defensive end Maxx Crosby recently invited the Cleveland Browns’ rookie quarterback to speak on his podcast about several topics.
One viral question was Crosby saying, “Who’s your Mount Rushmore of quarterback and wide receiver duos of all-time?”
Shedeur Sanders wasted no time in saying Tom Brady and Rob Gronkowski as his first. Gronk is a tight end.
He then stated Aaron Rodgers and Davante Adams. Shedeur then went to left field and stated Chris Olave and Derek Carr. He only played for the Saints for two years before he retired this offseason.
That answer even shocked Crosby.

Shedeur Sanders then stated whomever was going to be the quarterback for DK Metcalf and George Pickens. Aaron Rodgers is now that quarterback and Pickens is now on the Dallas Cowboys.
Again, the list was supposed to be all-time.
The Cleveland Browns have Shedeur Sanders as the No. 4 QB on their depth chart.
The most polarizing prospect in the 2025 NFL Draft was former Colorado quarterback Sanders.
Sanders fell all the way to the fifth round, eventually being scooped up by the Cleveland Browns, who had already taken Oregon quarterback Dillon Gabriel in the third round.
The rumor mill first started spiraling when insiders like Jason Lloyd and multiple outlets like Sports Illustrated noted the unexpected camp rotation order.
It should be noted that this is not an official announcement from the team.
However, multiple insiders claim that Sanders now ranks fourth on the Browns’ depth chart behind Joe Flacco, Kenny Pickett, and Dillon Gabriel.
