The Worldwide Leader in Sports has locked in its early prediction for the only teams that can win the Super Bowl this year.
With the 2025 season approaching, ESPN has shared its Football Power Index ratings and computer simulations.
According to the Worldwide Leader in sports, only seven teams have a realistic chance of winning this year’s big game in February.
The FPI “is a measure of team strength that is meant to be the best predictor of a team’s performance going forward for the rest of the season. FPI represents how many points above or below average a team is. Projected results are based on 10,000 simulations of the rest of the season using FPI, results to date, and the remaining schedule.”
ESPN’s computer model has done the work and figured out the NFL’s seven teams that can win it all:
The Washington Commanders have a 5.0 percent chance of winning the Super Bowl.
The Los Angeles Rams are given a 5.1 percent chance to winning the Lombardi Trophy.
The Detroit Lions have been given a 7.8 percent chance to win it all.
ESPN says the Baltimore Ravens have a 9.5 percent chance of winning the Super Bowl.
The Buffalo Bills have been given a 9.6 percent chance to win their first Super Bowl, according to ESPN’s Football Power Index.
The Super Bowl loser from last year, the Kansas City Chiefs, has a 10.3 percent chance of winning it all.
Last but not least, the Philadelphia Eagles, coming off a big win in Super Bowl 59, are the favorites to win it all again. They have a 10.9 percent chance of winning 60
