Joe Buck and Troy Aikman have become the latest parody of Saturday Night Live. The late-night show has been on a roll when it comes to sports.
One of the most memorable things about Miami’s run to the College Football Playoff national championship game has been Michael Irvin. Of course, SNL had to get in on the action. Cast member Kam Patterson had the perfect spot-on spoof of the three-time Super Bowl winner. It came during a “Weekend Update” cameo alongside anchor Michael Che.
Last month, they went even further when spoofing Sherrone Moore after he got fired from Michigan. The school alleged he had an improper workplace relationship. He was arrested later that day and spent the night in jail. SNL just couldn’t sit back and not make light of it as his life fell apart.
Moore is now facing multiple charges and has since been to court.
In the meantime, Saturday Night Live was back, taking shots at all things sports.
There are many questions surrounding the Denver Broncos heading into their AFC Championship Game against the New England Patriots on Sunday. The storyline became a sketch on “Saturday Night Live” spoofing “NFL on ESPN.”
In the midst of doing so, they also spoofed Troy Aikman and Joe Buck. James Austin Johnson played Joe Buck, Teyana Taylor played Lisa Salters, and SNL cast member Andrew Dismukes played Aikman.
Saturday Night Live decided to have some fun at the expense of the Broncos.

The Broncos and Jarrett Stidham hope to have the last laugh as they are currently taking on the Patriots.
The Patriots go into the game healthier than they were last week, when they beat the Houston Texans. Both teams enter the Championship game after a 14-3 regular season. The Patriots were a perfect 8-0 on the road in the regular season.
Because of the injury to Bo Nix, the Patriots are the favorites to win the game.
