ESPN NFL analyst Matt Bowen took ESPN’s list of the Top 50 soon-to-be-available free agents, made some revisions and projected where each player’s best fit would be. The Pittsburgh Steelers have four players on the list. Let’s take a look at what they have to say.

For quarterback Russell Wilson, Bowen has the New York Giants as the best fit. This makes sense as it is highly unlikely the Steelers are going to be willing to pay Wilson what he can make on the market.

Bowen also has guard James Daniels on the list with his best fit being the Cincinnati Bengals. Daniels missed a huge chunk of last season with an injury and got replaced in the starting lineup by Mason McCormick.

Bowen did have two more Steelers on the list, both of which he believes the best place for them is in Pittsburgh. For Bowen, there’s no place like home for quarterback Justin Fields and running back Najee Harris. We are 100 percent on board with the Steelers bringing Fields back to be the starter in 2025. As for Harris, it’s hard to say if Pittsburgh will even try to re-sign him after turning down his fifth-year option.
