It’s that time of year again!
The Field Gulls Survivor League competition has returned. After briefly switching over to Yahoo last year, we’re switching back to ESPN to avoid having to create multiple groups when one fills up at 100 entries. Every entrant should be contained within one group again.
If you don’t know what Survivor League is, let us help you out on how to play!
The Rules
- Each week you pick one team that you think is going to win their matchup. However, once you pick that team for that specific week you cannot use them again for the rest of the season. Example: Seahawks over 49ers in Week 1, Seahawks win, but now you can’t pick the Seahawks again.
- If your selection wins (or ties, under ESPN’s generous rules) then you survive to the next week. If they lose then you are out and there is no second chance, thanks for playing!
- The winner is whoever is the last person standing. There is almost no way you are going to make it through all 18 weeks without tripping up. I do not believe ESPN has Survivor League for the playoffs enabled.
-
The deadline to get your picks in is Sunday at 10 am PT, so if you want to pick the Thursday game or a Friday or Saturday game then you must make your pick sooner. If you don’t have your pick in by the Sunday deadline then you’re out.
How to Enter
Bragging rights are on the line within the Field Gulls Survivor League, but you could win $25,000 from ESPN if you make it all the way unscathed. Be on the lookout for another Field Gulls competition in which there is something on the line!
Good luck to everyone!
