How are you feeling about this matchup?
I don’t doubt the Philadelphia Eagles can beat the Kansas City Chiefs.
Saquon Barkley can’t be stopped. Vic Fangio’s defense has the ability to make Patrick Mahomes look mortal.
But I decided long ago to stop betting against KC, regardless of which team they’re playing. No exceptions.
I’m logically prepared for the Chiefs for the win.
But knowing something to be true is different than feeling it to be true.
I’m not emotionally prepared for an Eagles loss.
I feel like the Birds are going to win and we’re all going to Broad Street.
I truly hope that’s the case.
Even though I’m taking the Chiefs to win, I do think the possibility of the Eagles winning this game comfortably has gone under-discussed.

Here’s how I’d rank the top four most likely scenarios:
1) Chiefs win close
2) Eagles win comfortably
3) Eagles win close
4) Chiefs win comfortably
I’ll allow myself to think about the outcome where Barkley runs wild and the Chiefs simply have no answer.
And now that enough has been said about this game, I guess there’s only one thing for the Eagles left to do:
