IT’S FINALLY HERE!
WE MADE IT! IT’S HERE!
The “home team” Philadelphia Eagles will take on the Kansas City Chiefs in Super Bowl LIX on Sunday evening in New Orleans.
There’s been no shortage of storylines heading into the big game, most notably about this being a rematch game for the Eagles who are looking to avenge what happened in Arizona two years ago. Coaches and players have admitted that it’s fueling them, but also made clear that they are focused on taking things one day at a time and aren’t letting the moment get too much bigger than it is.
The Eagles were this close to beating the Chiefs in their last Super Bowl matchup, and they are much better equipped to finish on top this time around. Not only did they add Saquon Barkley — the NFL’s Offensive Player of the Year —, but they have a much better defensive coordinator in Vic Fangio, plus nearly a dozen new weapons on defense. Jalen Carter, Cooper DeJean, Zack Baun, and Quinyon Mitchell are going to give Patrick Mahomes a much tougher day than the roster led by Jonathan Gannon in 2023.
Howie Roseman has spent every day since the Eagles lost in Arizona building a team that was able to get their revenge. They’re ready. They’re locked in. Now is the time.
Here’s everything you need to know about how to watch the game.
