Philadelphia Eagles running back Saquon Barkley rewarded his offensive linemen with the most incredible gift that feels like it came straight out of a Seth Rogen comedy film.
Barkley’s first year with the Eagles culminated in a Super Bowl 59 championship victory, with Philly crushing the defending Super Bowl champion Kansas City Chiefs 40-22 in the big game.
According to John Clark of NBC Sports Philadelphia, Saquon Barkley purchased each of his offensive linemen a truckload’s worth of Bud Light beer as part of their Super Bowl 59 parade celebration for Friday.

It’s common for NFL quarterbacks and running backs to buy their offensive linemen gifts (for Thanksgiving, Christmas, end-of-season celebrations, etc.) as a token of appreciation for their efforts. But a truckload of beer for each of your linemen? That might be a first.
After six seasons with the New York GIants, Saquon Barkley signed a three-year deal with the Eagles worth $37.75 million last offseason. The No. 2 pick of 2018 turned in the best season of his career, rushing for 2,005 yards and 13 touchdowns to go along with 33 receptions for 278 receiving yards and two touchdowns.
Barkley continued his historic season in the playoffs, racking up 499 rushing yards and five touchdowns in four playoff games. He had 97 all-purpose yards in the Eagles’ Super Bowl victory over Kansas City.
Philadelphia had most of the talent in place to compete for a Super Bowl, but they wouldn’t have reached the mountaintop without Barkley. Pure and simple.
He took this offense to another level and took much of the pressure off Jalen Hurts, who shrugged off his own critics by winning Super Bowl MVP. With Barkley still in his prime, why can’t the Eagles compete for more titles?
