Cooper DeJean called Friday’s celebration the best day of his life.
The streets were lined with Eagles fans for over 7 miles, and the team filled nearly 30 buses with players, coaches, and staff to head down the parade route. It was a special way to celebrate Valentines Day with the whole city of Philadelphia, and players soaked it all in as they took to the street to greet fans.
At one point, Saquon Barkley lifted the Lombardi Trophy and noted to Jalen Hurts, “This is crazy!” And it was. It’s one thing to take in Eagles games at The Linc, or to see fans tailgate and fill the lots, it’s another to see nearly a million people come out to celebrate a Super Bowl win. It’s one of the few times when players get a chance to really feel the impact of their success.
Several players and coaches expressed their appreciation for the memory-filled day after the final speeches wrapped up.
