Eagles defensive tackle Jalen Carter has been caught up in yet another controversy.
The Philadelphia Eagles’ defensive tackle exploded into the backfield to sack Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen during the game. That was his only tackle. He also had another moment during this game that was much talked about.
Carter allegedly eye-gouged and throat-slashed a Buffalo Bills player on Sunday. That player was Bills offensive lineman Spencer Brown. He could be seen on his knees in pain after a play. No one knew what had happened until a replay showed the damage.
You could see the moment Jalen Carter smacked Brown. He then gouged his eyes and slashed at his throat.

This was brutal to watch. No penalty flag was thrown on the play.

Brown was not happy about it after the game. Footage caught Eagles players surrounding him as they walked to their locker room. No punches were thrown. Just good old-fashioned trash talking.
Against a Super Bowl-caliber quarterback, in a playoff-caliber environment, the Eagles’ defense was the best unit on the field. They almost let it slip away, but the defense had one more stop in them to win the game. With the victory, Philadelphia is still alive in the hunt for the No. 2 seed.
