The Philadelphia Eagles will attempt to accomplish a seemingly impossible task — knock off the dynastic Kansas City Chiefs — when they battle them in Super Bowl LIX.
It will be a rematch of the Super Bowl from two years ago, when the Eagles blew a 10-point halftime lead and lost in the final seconds.
The status of Eagles defensive end Brandon Graham, who has been out for two months due to a torn triceps muscle, has been up in the air, but he was a limited participant in practice, according to ESPN insider Adam Schefter.

By opening up his practice window, the Eagles have given him a chance to be available for the big game.

Graham has played his entire 15-season NFL career for the Eagles, and he is best remembered for his strip sack on Tom Brady late in Super Bowl LII that helped the team preserve its lead and win the Vince Lombardi Trophy.
His numbers have declined ever since he tore his Achilles in 2021, but he is still seen as a key part of the team’s defense, which has been dynamite all season long, especially down the stretch despite being without Graham.
If he is able to play, he and the rest of the Eagles defense will have to aggressively attack Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes, who hasn’t thrown an interception since Week 11 against the Buffalo Bills, the only time the Chiefs lost this season while playing their regulars.
Kansas City is going for an unprecedented third straight Super Bowl championship and is a slight favorite in this game.
