Nine rookie contracts down, one more to go.

The Philadelphia Eagles signed Jihaad Campbell — their selection at No. 31 overall in the 2025 NFL Draft — to a rookie contract on Wednesday afternoon, according to an official announcement from the team.

By virtue of Campbell being a first-round pick, his four-year deal includes a fifth-year team option for the 2029 season.

This news means the Eagles now have nine of their 10 picks from this year’s draft under contract:

  • Jihaad Campbell
  • Ty Robinson
  • Mac McWilliams
  • Smael Mondon Jr.
  • Drew Kendall
  • Kyle McCord
  • Myles Hinton
  • Cameron Williams
  • Antwaun Powell-Ryland

The only rookie who remains unsigned? That’s second-rounder pick Andrew Mukuba.

It’s quite possible the Eagles will have Mukuba signed in time for him to participate in training camp. But it’s worth noting that there’s been a delay in teams signing their second-rounders due to the top selections in that round signing fully guaranteed contracts.

Other second-round picks could be pushing for similar guarantees. But I’m not sure the effect will ultimately reach Mukuba, who was the last pick in that round at No. 64 overall.

We’ll see.

For now, it’s good to know the Eagles have most of their rookie paperwork out of the way.
