Philadelphia Eagles linebacker Nolan Smith couldn’t stop pounding back the drinks during the team’s Super Bowl 59 parade on Friday afternoon.
Nolan Smith and the Eagles soundly defeated the Kansas City Chiefs 40-22 in Super Bowl 59 last Sunday, securing the franchise’s second Lombardi Trophy while also denying the defending champions of a three-peat. Smith had two hits on Patrick Mahomes in the game.
Cameras caught Smith hammered out of his mind during the celebration in downtown Philadelphia. It looked like he was about to fall over and perform a faceplant on the concrete, but he stayed upright and even took the time to high-five a few fans:

Hey, you don’t get to celebrate a Super Bowl victory as a player that often, so why not have some fun when you have over a million spectators joining in on the parade?
The victory over Kansas City delivered the City of Brotherly Love its second Super Bowl championship in eight seasons. If they can win another in the next few years, it’ll be time to start conversations about a dynasty.
The Eagles drafted Smith 30th overall in 2023, continuing their trend of loading up on defensive players from Georgia. He broke out in 2024 with 6.5 sacks, one forced fumble and two fumble recoveries in the regular season.
Smith was even more unstoppable during the postseason, racking up four sacks and one forced fumble in Philly’s four playoff games. And to think defensive stars like Smith, Jalen Carter, Cooper DeJean and Quinyon Mitchell are just entering their primes…
