Eagles Have Made A Decision On New Offensive Coordinator

The Super Bowl champion Philadelphia Eagles have lost Kellen Moore, who was their offensive coordinator this season and left to become the New Orleans Saints’ new head coach last week.

Instead of looking to hire someone from the outside, they have decided to promote one of their own coaches to offensive coordinator.

Per Mike Garafolo, Kevin Patullo, who had been their pass game coordinator and associate head coach, will fill Moore’s spot as their new offensive coordinator.

Patullo had been the Eagles’ pass game coordinator since the 2021 season, and he had also served as an associate head coach for them over the last two seasons.

Before coming to Philly, he had been on the coaching staffs of several other NFL teams, including the Kansas City Chiefs, Buffalo Bills, Tennessee Titans, New York Jets and Indianapolis Colts.

Patullo, who is a North Jersey native, played both quarterback and wide receiver at the University of South Florida, a Division I Football Bowl Subdivision (FBS) school located in Tampa, Fla., in the early 2000s.

He was a graduate assistant for the school in 2003 and 2004 before holding that role for the University of Arizona from 2004 to 2006.

The Eagles won it all this season with running back Saquon Barkley exceeding 2,000 rushing yards and quarterback Jalen Hurts improving his efficiency, and they were aided by arguably the best offensive line in all of football.

They will look to repeat as world champions as the rest of the NFC looks to get stronger and healthier next season.
