There are few if any NFL plays that have become more controversial than the tush push. The rugby scrum-esque play involves a quarterback sneak with the player taking the snap also receiving a shove in the rear from players lined up behind him.
The Philadelphia Eagles introduced the play to the league in 2022 and seemingly convert short-yardage situations every single time they attempt it. For that reason, Eagles fans absolutely love the play. While fans of other teams and players across the league are less enthusiastic about it, even going so far as asking the league to ban the play.
But just how passionate are Philly fans about not only their team, but also the tush push? Well, this much…

NBC Sports Philadelphia anchor John Clark tweeted out a video of his friend’s wedding reception in the Bahamas.
“My buddy Cody and his groomsmen doing the Tush Push for their wedding reception in the Bahamas! They will be watching the NFC title game in the Bahamas and the plane back,” the tweet read.
The video showed the groom as well as all his groomsmen huddling up. The groom then took an imaginary snap while his groomsmen shoved him over the imaginary goal line. It was an incredible sight other than the fact that several wedding guests seemed very, very confused.
Philly fans may well get a bad wrap. But nobody can doubt their commitment to their football team. If you don’t believe us, or the tush push video, just trust the bar owner who recently banned Washington Commanders fans from his establishment despite being a “official” Commanders bar.
