Gus Logue is joined by Rick Ballou to gush about rookie receiver Brian Thomas Jr.

Check out episode 44 of Duval Rundown, hosted by Gus Logue.

Gus was joined by 1010XL radio host Rick Ballou to discuss Jacksonville Jaguars wide receiver Brian Thomas Jr., who drew rave reviews from his teammates and head coach on Monday after breaking multiple franchise rookie receiving records on Sunday.

Doug Pederson on whether he could’ve handled a larger workload earlier in the season:

“I think he could have. I really do. I think earlier in the season when we had everybody, we were just finding ways to get him the ball at that point, just plugging him in with Christian [Kirk] and Evan [Engram] and Gabe [Davis] and everybody. But now, these last couple of weeks, it’s kind of been his show. He’s really done a nice job, and as the season’s progressed each week, we’ve given him more. Again, it’s been a big bright spot for us on offense.”

Tyson Campbell on what makes him difficult to defend:

“I think his ability to win on the 50-50 balls, his quickness and just his ability to finish plays. Those three are the main keys.”

Travis Etienne on whether he could play running back:

“Yeah, B.T.’s one of those guys where could’ve been whatever he wanted to be. He’s a playmaker. He’s from Louisiana, so I feel like B.T. could’ve done whatever he wanted to do. He chose to be a receiver and you’re seeing another great receiver from LSU.”

Tune in to hear Gus and Rick’s thoughts!
