An intoxicated San Francisco 49ers fan scraped a Rolls-Royce at the 2025 Monterey Car Week, leading to a heated scuffle in a bizarre scene.
This year’s Monterey Car Week event, held annually in Monterey County, California, ran from Aug. 8 until today. What should have been a relaxing and enjoyable viewing of luxurious vehicles, however, turned ugly after a male San Francisco 49ers fan driving a Kia made contact with a Rolls-Royce.
The video, first posted on Reddit, shows the man in a 49ers hat scraping the Rolls-Royce as he drives slowly up a driveway (an open can of Modelo beer can be seen in the man’s vehicle). Another male confronts the 49ers supporter for hitting the vehicle, to which the latter says, “I’m glad.”
From there, the confrontation between the two men escalates, leading to a physical brawl. The San Francisco 49ers supporter accidentally makes contact with a woman standing behind him, prompting a second male to step in and help subdue the fan.
At the end of the video, the obvious scratches are shown on the Rolls-Royce, and police officers arrive to gather information from those involved. It’s unclear if any arrests were made.

Oddly, that wasn’t the only major incident in California involving a sports fan this week. Two men were arrested for violently attacking a Los Angeles Angels fan during their home game against the Los Angeles Dodgers on Wednesday.
Coming off a disappointing 6-11 record and last-place finish in the NFC West, the 49ers will try to begin the 2025 campaign on a high note when they visit the rival Seattle Seahawks on Sept. 7.
