Drake Maye married his childhood sweetheart, Ann Michael Hudson, at the end of June, and to celebrate this incredible milestone, the two took a moment to give back with a selfless gesture.

Scott Zolak of 98.5 The Sports Hub detailed how Maye and his new wife donated all their wedding gifts to those in need.

“So the wedding gifts,” Zolak said on Tuesday. “He didn’t tell anybody, and he had this supposed deal with his current wife that — they did a lot of donating with the local kids shelters and stuff for the area he grew up and some kids didn’t have (the right) size shoes, didn’t have some Christmas stuff. They didn’t tell anybody, but they took their wedding gifts and sent them to the homeless and help centers down there.”

“Everything that they got,” he added, “they forwarded it.”

Maye and Hudson met and began dating at the age of 12, which was detailed in a TikTok post by Hudson. They attended the University of North Carolina together and then moved to Massachusetts after the Patriots drafted Maye with the third overall pick in the 2024 NFL Draft. In January, Maye popped the question to his longtime girlfriend in Mexico, and the two wasted no time in tying the knot.

Maye shared photos from this special day on Instagram.

“What a night! Cheers to forever🥂I love you!,” he captioned the post.

“Best day ever!!!! I love you❤️❤️,” Hudson replied in the comments.

Hudson then shared a video on her Instagram story of the two dancing to “Love Story” by Taylor Swift.

It was a night to remember, and afterward, the two did something to help out those in need.
