Look what Mike done did!

Our good friend Mike Herndon wrote an article at PaulKuharsky.com today talking about how he is skeptical that this group - meaning Chad Brinker, Ran Carthon, and Brian Callahan - is equipped to identify the next quarterback. It’s a good piece behind the paywall over there. It is well thought out as everything that Mike puts out is.

In that article, Mike says that there is a softness to this Tennessee Titans team under Callahan that they didn’t have when Mike Vrabel was the head coach. From the above linked article:

There is a certain softness to this team that hasn’t been there in recent years. While players absolutely bear some responsibility there, it is often said that a team takes on the personality of its head coach and while I’m not saying Callahan is soft necessarily – he’s certainly shown some fire on the sidelines at times this season – I do think his team’s culture permits that softness to exist in ways that it wasn’t allowed to under Vrabel’s leadership. I’ll also concede that Vrabel was perhaps sometimes too far on the other side of that spectrum, which can be a problem in its own right.

Well, Callahan was asked today about his team being soft, and he did not take too kindly to the accusation:

Mike is the best and I love that something he wrote got this out of Brian Callahan.
