Jaylen Waddle’s Insane Weight Gain Explained

In case you were wondering how Waddle could add so much weight in a few months, he didn’t…

He just exchanged jerseys with center Aaron Brewer, as the Dolphins noted in the original post. So it appears MLFootball hit a successful Centel here.

Jaylen Waddle had his worst season as an NFL player in 2024, making a career-low 58 receptions for a career-low 744 yards and a career-low two touchdowns.

The wide receiver is considered to be a future WR1 and definitely has the talent. But he struggled without starting quarterback Tua Tagovailoa, who was out for five games, and missed two himself, also leaving another game with an injury.

The Dolphins pass catcher broke the league record for most receptions as a first-year player in his rookie season, a feat that has since been surpassed by Los Angeles Rams WR Puka Nacua.

He also set a franchise rookie record for receiving yards, with 1,015, and led the NFL in yards per reception in 2022 with 18.1, having registered 75 catches for 1,356 yards.
