Dolphins Week 7 fan confidence ties all-time record
The Phinsider The Phinsider

Miami Dolphins fans have tied an all-time record when it comes to their confidence in the direction of the team. Unfortunately, it is due to their lack of confidence in a 1-5 team that finds new ways to lose games weekly. The high-point of the season was in Week 1, when 45 percent of the fans thought the team was headed in the right direction. There was a jump in Week 5, when, after three weeks of single-digit results, 32 percent of the fans were coming back to trusting the team. Now, both the results on the field and in our SB Nation Reacts poll are ugly.

Just how low is the fan confidence in the direction of the team? Not only does it tie the all-time low – a low set earlier this year – but there is a gap between Miami fan confidence levels and the rest of the league.

Our Week 7 SB Nation Reacts poll shows only three percent of Dolphins fans believe the team is headed in the right direction. That equals the low-point mark set in Week 3.

In comparison, the bottom 10 in terms of fan confidence are:

Philadelphia Eagles 20%
Buffalo Bills 17%
Las Vegas Raiders 17%
New York Jets 15%
Cleveland Browns 13%
Baltimore Ravens 11%
Cincinnati Bengals 11%
Dallas Cowboys 11%
Arizona Cardinals 10%
Miami Dolphins 3%

The Dolphins are the only team in single digits.

Things are not going well for the team and they are not going well for the fans.

Miami faces the Browns on Sunday, a matchup between two 1-5 teams. If the Dolphins come away with their sixth loss of the year, we may see a new record being set.
