The Miami Dolphins and Indianapolis Colts are counting down the final few days before their 2025 NFL season kicks off in a Week 1 matchup. Both teams released their updated injury reports on Thursday, with Miami adding two players to the report and upgrading one in terms of practice participation. For the Colts, nothing changed.
Indianapolis listed running back Tyler Goodson as limited on Wednesday with an elbow injury. Following Thursday’s practice, Goodson was again listed as limited.
For Miami, the two new additions were safety Elijah Campbell and offensive lineman James Daniels. Both were limited on Thursday after having fully participated on Wednesday. Campbell is listed as having a knee injury, while Daniels is dealing with an ankle issue.
Offensive tackle Austin Jackson, who is recovering from a toe injury, moved from limited on Wednesday to a full participant on Thursday. He seems on track to resume his role as the starting right tackle on Sunday.
Cornerback Ethan Bonner (hamstring), tight end Darren Waller (hip), and running back Jaylen Wright (knee) all missed their second straight practice. Safety Ashtyn Davis (calf), wide receiver Dee Eskridge (concussion), and wide receiver Tyreek Hill (oblique and calf) were all limited in both days of practice thus far this week. Cornerback Storm Duck (hip), tight end Julian Hill (shoulder), safety Ifeatu Melifonu (hamstring), and safety Dante Trader, Jr. (hamstring) all continued as full participants.
The Dolphins and Colts will update their respective injury reports to include the game status for each player on Friday. Kickoff for Sunday’s game is at 1 p.m. Eastern.
