The Miami Dolphins and Buffalo Bills are down to their final preparations for their Week 3 Thursday Night Football kickoff. Both teams have released their inactive players lists, dropping to the league-mandated 46 players available for during the game.
On Wednesday’s injury report, the Dolphins listed cornerback Storm Duck, safety Ifeatu Melifonwu, and tight end Darren Waller as out, with all three taking spots on the inactive list. Duck is dealing with an ankle injury, Melifonwu has a calf injury, and Waller, who has yet to make his debut as a member of the Dolphins, is dealing with a hip injury.
Joining them on the inactive list are quarterback Quinn Ewers, cornerback JuJu Brents, wide receiver Tahj Washington, and defensive tackle Zeek Biggers. Miami designated Ewers as the team’s emergency third quarterback, making him eligible to enter the game should starting quarterback Tua Tagovailoa and backup Zach Wilson both be injury.
The Dolphins should see cornerback Ethan Bonner and running back Jaylen Wright return to the field after injuries, providing the team with needed depth at their respective positions.
The Bills ruled out linebacker Matt Milano and defensive tackle Ed Oliver on Wednesday, then adding them as inactive tonight. Milano has a pectoral muscle issue and Oliver has an ankle injury.
Also inactive for Buffalo are wide receiver Curtis Samuel, defensive back Jordan Hancock, cornerback Ja’Marcu Ingram, tackle Chase Lundt, and defensive end Landon Jackson.
