All-Pro cornerback Jalen Ramsey has all but confirmed that he’s done with the Miami Dolphins with a pair of X/Twitter posts.

Last month, Dolphins general manager Chris Grier said that the organization and Jalen Ramsey agreed that a split is “probably in the best interest for all parties.” The future Hall of Famer is signed through the 2028 season.

On Wednesday, Ramsey took to X and expressed his gratitude for “every chapter” and each city he’s played in. In his second post, Ramsey signed off with an apparent goodbye message to Miami fans, writing “a new chapter awaits.”

I’m grateful for each & every chapter so far! every part brought me to a greater version of myself! Regardless of how things “ended”, the journey has been LOVE! 🤟🏾

God is the GREATEST!

One year after helping the Los Angeles Rams to a Super Bowl 56 championship, Jalen Ramsey was traded to the Dolphins in exchange for tight end Hunter Long and a 2023 third-round pick. With that selection, the Rams drafted Byron Young, who has logged 15.5 sacks over his first two seasons.

Ramsey missed seven games in 2023 due to injury but still helped the Dolphins to a wild card appearance, though they were no match for the Kansas City Chiefs. In two seasons with Miami, Ramsey had five interceptions and 16 pass breakups.

A 2016 first-round pick of the Jacksonville Jaguars, Ramsey played there for three seasons and a bit before getting traded to the Rams in the 2019 campaign.

Teams That Should Target Jalen Ramsey

Rams head coach Sean McVay has publicly expressed interest in a reunion with Ramsey, who would get the opportunity to chase a second championship on the NFC powerhouse.

The Green Bay Packers should consider trading for Jalen Ramsey, too, if they end up moving on from fellow All-Pro corner Jaire Alexander. The Detroit Lions, Minnesota Vikings, Kansas City Chiefs, San Francisco 49ers and Los Angeles Chargers are also among the top playoff contenders that could use additional cornerback help.
