The Miami Dolphins and Pittsburgh Steelers are in their final preparations for tonight’s Week 15 Monday Night Football contest. Both teams have released their respective inactive players lists, dropping from their regular season active roster size of 53 players down to the gameday limit of 48.
For the Dolphins, the inactive players includes quarterback Quinn Ewers, defensive back Elijah Campbell, cornerback A.J. Green III, offensive lineman Larry Borom, wide receiver Tahj Washington, and defensive tackle Matthew Butler. Campbell was listed as doubtful on the team’s final injury report with an ankle injury while Borom was questionable with an illness.
Ewers is the team’s emergency quarterback, allowing him to enter the game if both starter Tua Tagovailoa and backup Zach Wilson both sustain injuries.
The Steelers listed wide receiver Roman Wilson, quarterback Will Howard, cornerback James Pierre, guard Andrus Peat, defensive tackle Bodric Martin-Rhodes, linebacker T.J. Watt, and defensive tackle Derrick Harmon as inactive. Pierre (calf), Peat (concussion), and Watt (lung) were all ruled out on Friday’s final injury report; Harmon was questionable with a knee injury.
Running back Jaylen Warren was also listed as questionable with an illness, but he is expected to play.
Howard is the emergency quarterback for Pittsburgh.
