Dolphins set as big home underdogs to Bills in Week 10

It probably should not come as much of a surprise, but the Miami Dolphins opened as big underdogs against the Buffalo Bills in Week 10. Miami is 2-7 on the year, are likely sellers as the NFL trade deadline approaches, and have already made one major move as former general manager Chris Grier has left the team. What was supposed to be a bounce back year after missing the playoffs in 2024 has turned into the start of a rebuild for Miami.

The Bills, meanwhile, despite back-to-back losses in Weeks 5 and 6, are looking like the team everyone expected them to be entering Week 10. They are coming off two straight wins, including beating the Kansas City Chiefs on Sunday, and are positioning themselves for a playoff run.

Again, probably not a surprise that the Bills, who have wins in 14 of the last 15 meetings between the AFC East rivals, including seven-straight victories, are big favorites, even with this game in Miami.

According to the oddsmakers at FanDuel Sportsbook, Buffalo is a 9.5-point favorite for the game. And, if the Dolphins sell off any more of their key players, following Monday morning’s trade of linebacker Jaelan Phillips to the Philadelphia Eagles, that number might continue to grow.

The Bills are -520 to straight-up win the game, while the Dolphins are +400 on the moneyline. The point total is 49.5.

The two teams met earlier this year in Buffalo, combining for 52 points. The Bills won the Week 3 Thursday night meeting 31-21.

Can the Dolphins shock the Bills and the oddsmakers?

Kickoff for the game is at 1 p.m. Eastern on Sunday from Miami Gardens’ Hard Rock Stadium.
