The Associated Press announced the First- and Second-Team All-Pro selections on Saturday, with two Miami Dolphins players landing on the list. The AP All-Pro lists are the standard bearer for recognition of great season-long performances and is recognized by the NFL. The votes are conducted by a panel of 50 national media members and the voters are asked to select first and second team players by position.
Dolphins linebacker Jordyn Brooks was named to the first team. Brooks led the NFL in tackles this season, outpacing Detroit Lions linebacker Jack Campbell by seven tackles. He was the clear star of Miami’s defense this year, and he finished the season with 183 tackles, 3.5 sacks, a forced fumble, a fumble recovery, and three passes defensed.
Brooks joined the Dolphins in 2024 as a free agent from the Seattle Seahawks. This is his first All-Pro selection.
Miami’s Aaron Brewer was selected as the Second-Team All-Pro at center. Brewer finished behind the Kansas City Chiefs’ Creed Humphrey in the voting, receiving 74 points (19 first-team votes) compared to Humphrey’s 93 points (26 first-team votes). Brewer played in 16 of Miami’s 17 games this year, starting all of them.
Miami signed Brewer as a free agent in 2024 from the Tennessee Titans. In his second season with Miami, he established himself as the dominant offensive lineman on the roster. This is his first All-Pro selection.
Fullback Alec Ingold finished fourth (with one first-place vote) at his position.
Dolphins running back De’Von Achane did not receive any running back votes, but was fifth in the “all purpose” category. San Francisco 49ers running back Christian McCaffery was named to the First-Team at the position, while Atlanta Falcons running back Bijan Robinson was selected as the Second-Team all-purpose player.
Miami kick returner Malik Washington was eighth at the position, receiving one first-team vote.
